How to prepare for ageing years

Michael recently retired from his job, he felt as if he were on vacation.
Everything was going very well, He has been happy and going out together with his friends.
But after time he became so different and behaves like an animal in the cage.
Michael never had plans when retiring therefore  he has been ending on depression.
